Namakku Naame Tour - It’s time we took matters to our own hands!

The inactive and inefficient ADMK government has let down Tamil Nadu on all the fronts. Five years have been lost with no development. It is the citizens of tomorrow, the youth who will pay the price of a decaying state. In a quest of bring about an ideal, forward looking, progressive government in Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin is embarking on this state-wide tour.

Criss-crossing across 234 constituencies in one of the largest movements of participatory democracy in Tamil Nadu’s history, Thalapathy M.K. Stalin will travel across the state to hear people’s real issues beginning September 25, 2015. He will begin in Kanyakumari and conclude the tour in Kancheepuram on November 8, 2015. In the course of this tour, M.K. Stalin will meet and interact with all sections of the society, including farmers, fishermen and weavers, students, women, self-help groups, businessmen and professionals.

M.K. Stalin will spend time among the people listen to them, understand their aspirations and expectations. He will also remind the citizens of the good work begun by the party when it was in power and listen to the citizens on any feedback and suggestion it should implement, if it assumes the Government in 2016.

We, ourselves, as individuals are the catalysts to bring about change. M.K. Stalin wants to join you and will partner you in ushering the change.

Thalapathy MK Stalin thanked the participants of the Namakku Naame IT conclave for their constructive suggestions and valuable ideas

Thalapathy MK Stalin presided over the Namakku Naame IT conclave organized at Sholinganallur, Chennai. Representatives from MNCs and startups shared their constructive suggestions and valuable ideas for the promotion of IT Industry in Tamil Nadu. Others who did not get the opportunity of meeting Thalapathy in person also shared their ideas and suggestions on Facebook and Twitter. Thalapathy MK Stalin promised to consider all of the suggestions while designing policies for IT sector. 

Thalapathy MK Stalin’s four-point initiative for the development of IT sector include 1) establishment of a Multimedia Park, 2) transitioning to a 100% paperless government 3) bringing in a legislation for guarantee of services 4) focusing on developing Rural BPO across the state. Thalapathy MK Stalin also promised to setup a Single Window Clearance for startups and formulate a digital map to connect the investors with startups. Other important assurances given by Thalapathy MK Stalin include safety of women in the IT sector, easy accessibility to the Airport & Railway station, and designing an IT industry centric Disaster Management policy. Thalapathy MK Stalin promised that DMK would provide a clean and corruption free government, with good governance.

Thalapathy Launch: StalinConnect - 'Ungal Kaelvi, En Badil'.

Thalapathy has launched a video blog series called StalinConnect - 'Ungal Kaelvi, En Badil'. It is the continuation of his initiative to reach out to a larger audience and interact with them. Through this series of video blogs, he will be answering people's questions on governance, politics and several other issues that impact them. This will be a regular feature, as part of his Stalin Connect initiative as a platform for asking questions, and an opportunity to interview him too! So keep the questions coming.

07 November, Thiruvallur

Successful Completion of Phase Three Namakku Naame in Thiruvallur

Thalapathy successfully completed the last day of the third phase of Namakku Naame yesterday. Starting September 21st, Thalapathy has traversed the length and breadth of Tamil Nadu, covering 11000 km, across 31 districts and 212 assembly constituencies. Everywhere Thalapathy went, he was overwhelmed by the love and affection of the people he met. Thalapathy said that their resilience in the face of a difficult present and an uncertain future is inspiring. Thalapathy received 4 lakh petitions during this journey through which the people of Tamil Nadu have expressed their dissatisfaction with the status quo and with the ADMK government. Thalapathy assured the people that the DMK will usher in a new dawn. We look forward to Thalapathy embarking on the fourth phase of Namakku Naame in Chennai on November 17th.
